the ignition wires will need to dry out, if they get soaked it will not start unless you have good wires, when they start to get old they are more prone to not working when they get wet.
this is providing the starter cranks the engine and it did not hydro lock from water getting into the engine.
Since you said that you drove through water paddle surely water splashed into the engine compartment, where the main wiring plug of the automatic gear box is. You c\n find it easy is between the radiator fan and the gear box on the top of the gear box. Disconnect it and use a contact cleaner spray by spraying into the connectors both faces.
You filled the cylinders with water. You will need to remove all the spark plugs and crank the engine with them out, to push out the water. you will also want to replace the air filter as it is probably saturated with water.
Basically the water has gone into the exhaust and through to the engine, flooding the engine. You'll have to go to a garage and and get it drained. Also try checking the alternator hasn't fried with the water.
may have sucked water up in air box, check to see if air filter box has water in it,if so you may have ruined the engine,if there is water, remove plugs and crank the engine over to blow the water out,if no water then the starter is the problem
what engine is in your car
does the engine crank?
if the engine is a 4 cylinder then it most likely has internial damage
i have done a few were its broken connecting rods
first, not to panic. Unless you submerged your engine there is only a matter of some water getting on your ignition syste. Don't pull any plugs, won't help. Basicly its a dry out thing. The steam from your exhaust definately filled tthe engine compartment with plenty of moisture. Your car is new enough to where s little moisture will be overcome. If you stalled in water that deep, there is also the issue of having filled your exhaust system with water.. The car will not start with the exhaust blocked with water. It will be obvious if thats the case. It will blow water from tthe tail pipe. If it does start, any waterr will blow out and what doesn't will go away when everything heats up.
um this proboly u went trough a deep water the water hit the exhaust and just burned water ur horn got water in it but nothing to worry about how to fix it normal day use ill go away i promise
