I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe. No problem this

I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe. No problem this morning until I was leaving for lunch and the engine light came on along with a message of Reduced Engine Power. My Tahoe will not accelerate more than 25 miles per hour.

That little slide on wire for the starter solenoid is the answer. Squeeze tight or replace with new and start! : )

My 2003 chevy tahoe won't start in the morning

Many possible causes....Too little info to make an intelligent suggestion. Try charging the problem vehicle's battery with jumper cables for 2 minutes with the supply vehicle running at fast idle (or about 1500-2000 RPM, if it is tachometer equipped) before you try to crank the problem vehicle on a cold morning. If it starts right up, you likely have a weak battery that needs replacing.

This morning I had 1/2 tank of gas. I stopped to

the fuel level gauge just went out na dthats why the light is on. to replace it you have to replace the entire sending unit. cost is $500.00 plus to have replaced. if you can live with it and keep check on your milage, I would wait for the pump to go out.

I went out to use my 2003 chevy tahoe this morning and there is no power at all. I put a battery charger on it, but there is still no power getting through. I swapped out the ignition fuse and it didn't...

Check the connections on the battery and where they connect to the engine/starter. Do you get any inside lights at all?
Check the voltage on the battery - should be 12 volts (engine off)

I have a 2003 chevy tahoe with about 150,000 miles. The engine light has been on for couple of months now, but I have had no problem. This morning, it won't start. The lights and radio comces on.

Have you ever replaced the starter? If not you should have it tested, GM's have common starter problems and your vehicle is in the age bracket for starter to go bad.The easy fix is to have someone turn the key like they were going to start it while you get underneath the truck and hit the starter with a hammer a few times while they are trying to start the vehicle. If the vehicle starts then you know you have a starter problem, if not, back to the drawing board.

How do you reset the check engine light? 2003 chevy tahoe

Check engine light came on for a reason. Could be one of a hundred reasons. My adivce would be to go to Advance Auto, O'Reilly's or any of the many Parts Stores and "borrow" a Code Reader. Easy to use and most places let you use it for FREE. The Code Reader will show what Code was set and what it MIGHT be. The Code Reader also resets the Codes and the Check Engine Light will go off.... until it senses something is wrong with your truck.

Good Luck.
