Having some electrical problems after alternator repair

Had my alternator repaired on my 2002 exalta, after it was reinstalled, dash clock, stereo, high beam, alarm and power locks are not working. A/C fan stays on highest setting while engine is turned on(even when A/C is off). all fuses are good. ecu problem or some relay switches?

will there be separate links or wires on each fuse in the box? because there are some fuses still working, like the one for the horn, wipers, etc. but will try anyway, i'll post for updates soon as i checked. thanks!

Sounds like a power loss to your fuse box. Check your connection at the battery for faulty fusible link.

Message center doesn't work 2002 Chevy Silverado. Fuse is good. Not sure what is wrong with it. Lcd shows mileage and gear indicator. How can I fix the message center without taking it to Chevy?

you have to send out your whole cluster. it is a common thing that goes wrong with the gm dash clusters. you need a expert electrical guy to repair. look on ebay, guys fixing them and replacing lights in your stereos and other dash clusters.

If i remove my dash clock can it affect my alternator

yes, and yes, you blew fuses ,
the alterator does use a sense line to dash IGN terminals.
forget that. you failed FSM rule one, disconnect battery neg terminal before doing electrical repairs.

test all fuses, no car, no year, no model stated, so cant show which fuse. 12vdc on boths sides of all fuses, key on, is GOOD.
fuse that look good can be bad.

you shorted out clock wires and blew fuses
easy peasy , prob.

How do I fix my CD player in a 2002 GMC Denali

It depends on what it is or isn't doing....no power? Check source and wiring. No sound? Check speakers and wiring. If your discs don't play, the player may be jammed or the laser could have malfunctioned, etc. regardless of the issue, you will have to remove the stereo to diagnose/repair it. Since you would already have the assumed stock stereo out of the dash, why not just replace it with a much better quality one for under the price of repairing/wasting time with the stock p.o.s. Most stereo retailers have adapter plugs and dash inserts to make installation simple.

My 1990 mercury grand marquis was boosted wrong

Might need to check the main circuits for a blown fuse or fuseable link.
There is a fuse wire between the alternator and battery.

2002 Nissan Pathfinder _ Electrical Problems

Unusual the dealer can't or won't find the problem.
A mechanic would check everything in that circuit for shorts to ground.
Was the fuse blowing before the alternator and battery were replaced ?
Based on the wiring diagrams I would vote for a defective alternator.
The 10 amp fuse number 8 powers the cluster which also goes to the alternator. If the alternator shorts out internally it would blow that number 8 fuse and take the cluster with it.
The other circuits you mentioned are controlled by the key switch but are fused after the switch. So if the switch was causing the problem it should be blowing a 40amp fuse.
I would probably take the alternator off and have someone else test it.

Clock doesn't light up

internal lights in the radio, call your local stereo shop & asked them if they can send your radio out for repair. It may cost less just to let them replace the radio then a repair.
