Contact your national Hyundai Distributor (aka the Factory) consumer relations office. They will need documents to verify the ownership of the vehicle, and then they can provide the key code.

Lost car key no spare

A Hyundai dealer may be able to make you a new key from the VIN number on the dashboard. However, you will need to prove you own the car, as they get requests regularly for a new key with a stolen VIN number.
Be blessed.

I lost the original key for mmy car accent 2005.

If the key has a chip in it, the only place to get another is from a dealer.

If it doesn't, and u have a spare, any key cutting establishment can help you.

if that was your only key..

go to your nearest dealership and provide them with ALL the information regarding your vehicle, INCLUDING THE V.I.N.#.

They will get u a replacement.

Be forewarned, they are not cheap.

Good luck.

Hyundai Accent 2001 1.5L 5dr CDX model key

dealer only to programme it,but they can be cut and programmed by a specialist in automotive keys but you will need the 4 figure code for your chassis number and a lot of dealers will not give you this information. Also you cannot remove the factory immobiliser as the ECU unit is extremely complicated and no wiring diagrams are published,Dont argue or go their as iam not happy with the way bill gates look alike nerds are putting me out of work.

My car key is lost & Ineed another one.

Take photo id and the ownership or title to your car to the dealer and they can cut you a new key. Had new keys cut for my Honda cost me $5 each. If they can't cut the keys for you there they can give you the code and a locksmith will be able to cut you a key from the code.

Hope this helps you out,

mike

Immoboliser Faulty

these immobilisers on hyundai are a chip installation in key ? considering age of car and use of ign key it may well be the worne key ist causing intermitant problem ? ask mother did she get either another ign master key or a tag with the key code number stamped on it for obtaining a replacement key with the car ? as with each new hyundai you get 2x keys and either one of the above with all documents/handbooks etc try hyundai main office b4 you consider trying to cut out immobiliser? this would affect your insurance if it is stolen and found to not have working immobiliser
