It could be alot of things. if the car was running fine before it happened i wouldn't say the fuel filter. if it was dirty enough to clog from taking a turn then the car would have ran poorly. i see alot of ignition issues with these cars.
with out testing you could be chasing your tail and wasting money.
hope this help and please ask any more question you have. good luck
hi, just wanted to let you know one and two thumbs up are not that good and me and the other expert gave you very good advise. if you were looking for a sure thing then go ask a fortune teller. we are on the other side of a computer and can't tell you whats wrong with your car by you telling us you went around a coner and stalled. not trying to be rude but i try very hard to keep good feedback and all four thumbs up. i think we gave you solid info.
i would hope you made a mistake and will reconsider your feedback for me and the other expert.
thank you and happy holidays!

See if the car will run if you spray fuel directly into the carb. If it runs for a few seconds the problem is fuel delivery; if not, the problem is ignition.
If ignition - check cap and rotor; could also be something as simple as the coil wire grounded (against an exhaust monifold, or has come off of top of the distributor cap). Could be a bad ignition coil also (usaully intermittent as well).
Fuel delivery:
suspect fuel pump, filter (but these things would cause sputtering, or the car WOULD start and run a few seconds after sitting (say, over night - pump). Poor power or performance (filter).
