The green colour will be antifreeze additive in the water, you should really trace the leak source as it is bound to continue or worsen without repair. You could try a product called CE-LIT which comes in little packets, looks like chopped up grass or silica - add to hot radiator and run at idle for several minutes, it is really good if you can find it where you live. I put a screwdriver thru the rad when fixing my number plate in the snow, huge leak ensued, ce-lit closed it within 5 minutes and I was able to drive off. Never leaked again either, if you cant find that one, get a similar one, but not the liquid leak sealers like barr's as they are ****.

Wath do that mean when your car over heat an smoke comes in the car when it do over heat

Are you referring to smoke or steam? If it's smoke then either oil or fluid may be leaking onto the manifold. If it's steam it could mean that the car is overheating and the radiator is letting off steam.

My Honda prelude starting to smoke yesterday. I believe it is steam. I saw green liquid on certain parts under the hood. It wasn't a lot but when I came to a stop and turned off the car it was noticeable....

i recommend you don't drive to far and get a mechanic too check it out as you risk overheating and blowing the head gasket which is expensive. You need to get the cooling system pressure checked too find the leak and rectify it. hopefully just a hose but possably a water pump.

1996 Acura 3.2TL Overheating Problem...

From your description of symtoms it sounds like you have a bad water pump. If the coolant is not circulating properly you will have a heating problem. Sometimes even a new thermostat can stick and cause the engine to overheat. I have seen them fail in as little as a week after they were installed.

Honda Accord 1994 V4 LX: Starting problems in the morning

There could be a few things causing this. When the car finally starts, is there any smoke coming out the exhaust pipe? White smoke would mean your headgasket is leaking and is letting coolant into the engine, then it is burned along with the fuel. Does the car run hot? Meaning has it ever overheated? Back to the smoke, if its black, your oil is getting in and is burning.

Now, the reason why it would be hard for a car to start, could be, a leaking headgasket, flooding the car while the car is sitting.

And yes, the car would be able to crank, but just wont start, for a while...because it has to get rid of all that fluid that has leaked into the engine while sitting at night.

Another thing you could look at, is your fuel pump, is it supplying a sufficient amount of pressure? If it isnt, it will take a while for it to pressurize and deliver fuel into the engine. You can check the fuel pump yourself by renting a fuel pump pressure tool from stores like autozone, kragen and more.

Your gas cap on tightly?

Good luck with your problem.
