Take your jack handle out from the left rear compartment like 3-4 pieces
join them together
on the right side you will see an acess hole
there is a square end the jack handle fits into then turn the jack handle counter clock wise and the tire will lower

Why does my2004 gmc envoy xl slt idle high at startup?

This is normal. All vehicles idle high at start up to get the engine to operating temperature. This is known as open loop. The computer ignores signals from O2 sensors to keep your engine running safely. Once it has warmed up, it will enter closed loop, and you will see a decrease in idle.

Spare tire will not lower . The spare Tire on my 2003 GMC Envoy XL has never been used and I can not lower it.

if it cant be lowered, the mechanism is bad or siezed. you will need to cut the cable and then replace the mechanism.

Trying to find the fuel filter on my 2005 gmc envoy xl slt

Go underneath the SUV and find the Fuel tank. from their find the gas line that runs to your engine. follow that line and eventually you will come across a circular piece attach to the line. Thats youre filter.
