The battery was dead and the stereo is now displaying LOC. What is the procedure and codes to unlock stereo on this 2002 Buick Regal.

You should have used a battery saver plugged into the cig lighter before changing it out. The Dealer will have to unlock it now. They have the code it takes to do it. Lots of times car company's did this to prevent stolen stereos from working again once power was cut off. Theifs could'nt get rid of them cause they did'nt work without the code to unlock it.

This means the incorrect code has been entered more than three times, you need to find the code it will be on a card in the glove box with the owners manual, if you dont have it then radio must be removed and serail # written down and call dealer, also you are locked out of radio you now need to leave the radio on with the key on for a straight hour you may need to hook battery charger to keep battery from going dead.after about an hour you will see the word code displayed you can now enter the code follow directions in manual to enter the code useing the right buttons.

YOUR RAIDO HAS A CODE # TO PREVENT THEFT, YOUR DEALER CAN GIVE YOU THE CODE. WHEN YOU REMOVED BATTERY RAIDO THEFT CODE WAS SET OFF IN RAIDO.

You'll have to phone the car dealer for the unlock code if it's the original radio

try to pull radio out some of them brings the code on a stiker

I just bought the haynes book and here is what it says,, when the owner is restored to the stereo the stereo wont turn on and LOC will appear.. here is what it says.. ... turn on ignition switch but leave stereo off
Press MN button.. 000 should display ... it says that in 2002 two an dlater models
that it will learn a portion of the VIN number fo your vehicle.. so you will just have to try those numbers until it works.. syas that you press the HR button until the first one or two Numbers match your code.. Press AM/FM button SEC should appear indicating the stereo is unlocked.d. if LOC appears the numbers arent correct.. try again..

Most likely there is an anti-theft code for the radio and you must enter that code to enable the radio. This will happen when the is battery is disconnected. If you do not know the code or the procedure for entering it consult your manual. If you do not have the manual or code you will need to have the dealer reset it for you.

Sorry, only the dealer can clear the code in your radio if you don't know it. This is an anti-theft feature. If the code were out there radios would stolen!

hold 2 and 3 or 1 and 4 depending on the model. Then i t should show three numbers, after u have written these down press the am fm button and wait for 3 more numbers then there is a number you have 2 call to get ur code and u will have to enter ur six digit code and it will give u ur unlock code. one moment and i will try to get the #

I believe it is the 3 and 5 buttons on the radio it will bring up the #'s keep pushing them until you get your code all typed in.
