I have a problem with a 1996 4.0 discovery when it warms up it runs very badly.All of this problems iniciated when the Discovery overheated and spilled all the water, the overheating problem got fixed but it started with the problem i have today, i dont know if its casualty or the overheated and the water spillment caused the problem. thank you

Need to be a little more specific. What exactly does it do when it gets hot. How long after you crank it does it start acting up. Does it have to be running down the road? Does it idle good? Does it spit and backfire when you give it gas? How many miles on it? Is it GEMS Motor?

We alredy checked the spark plugs and the head, changed sensors, i have another discovery same year and i have been changing the parts back and forward, the discovery runs good when cold but when it warms...
Have you had the oygen sensor/lambda sensor and catylisator exhaust checked.
Its possible you have a blocked catylisator or malfunctioning oxygen sensor, you need to get this checked at an exhaust specialist or garage that has the equipment to test.
