The interior lights in my Oldsmobile Silhouette are always on, unless I turn them off with the override switch. How can I diagnose where is the problem? Door switch? (there is no ajar message) relay problem?
Thanks.
The problem is likely a faulty (sticking) relay - remove/replace the relay and check the lights extinguish.
Sorry, I don't know.
Try removing relays (one at a time) until you get one that controls the interior lights.
(Take care, in that there may be more than one relay that will remove the lights supply).

Sorry, I can't find any further info on the Oldsmobile - free electrical schematics are rare.
You may have a an 'Illuminated entry" module somewhere on the vehicle that controls the courtesy lights relay.
Perhaps someone more familiar with the Silhouette could respond.

Ok. Do you know where is this relay? - manual doesn't tell.
Sorry, I might be an idiot, but I don't know where are those relays. What I could find in the fuse box, it was not.
