How to unlock truck jaguar stype when no power

the stype does not have ignition amplifirers the on plug coils are controlled by the power controle module [pcm] loated under the climate intake box and is prone to water ingress.but there are a coil suppressor capacitor on the back of the cylinder heads which can go short to ground. what is the problem you have?

sounds like the key you are using is not programmed to the car HAVE YOU GOT THE ORIGINAL KEY?the passive anti theft system pats has found something ie key not compatiable with the car the key may fit and lock/unlock the car but the key transponder in the ignition lock will not regonise it thinks its being stolen the chip in the key is not programmed to that car

I see these throttle bodies fail a lot. Scan your codes if you have a check engine light on (autozone/ advanced auto does this for free if you can make it there)

Yes. You will need a proper Jaguar changer with the correct fibre optic leads (d2b) then It will need to be programmed to the vehicle wich can only be done by Jaguar. You may also need the correct carpet for the n/s of the boot

You can use your ignition key to open the boot, it has a key hole on or under the boot chrome trim
