Does not Idol, when come to stop light it goes out

Check fuel, spark plugs and wires.

Have you checked for vacuum leaks ?

Spray a small amount of starting fluid around all suspected areas and if it revs up that's where you leak is.

Hello there , if if idol is the same rpm as normal , Try looking at your engine mounts and transmission mounts , if one of them are broken , this can give bad vibration at idol .. Regards Graham ..

When the engine is running at idol the oil pressure drops causing the oil light to flash or come on. While driving the engine is running harder and oil pressure is increased and the light goes off. Your oil level may be low in the engine or the oil pump is starting to fail. Is this a vehicle with high mileage?

Check your engine idol. It could be that your idol speed is set to low. It should probably run at between 800 and 1000 RPM. If it is not then your idol is to low.

Take it back to them and tell them whats happening
They will scan the ECU for codes and address it accordingly. It could be a defective sensor,improper installiation or an additional code on another issue that could be triggering this particular sensor to act up.
If it turns out to be a defective replacement sensor hopefully its under warranty. If its a dealer part 1 year 12k warranty. Aftermarket.......God only knows... Good luck

have someone hook up with better scan tool that reads more than code 6

the idle air control valve is stuck,or there is a vacuum leak.check the vacuum lines,the throttle cable is not sticking and the idle control valve which is on the side of the throttle body and the throttle position sensor.check all the plugs on these for a good connection.

Replace your fuel filter and airfilter. If this doesn't work - you may need a new coil pack or cap and rotor if it has a distributor; if this is the case, change the spark plugs and plug wires.

i would check the throttle position sensor and adjust if possible
