2001 2.0 vw jetta p1780 p0322 p0725 p1850 The car stalls out intermintently and will not start for an hour. It was report that it usually happens when the car comes to a stop. The car then run rough and dies and won't start again. To me it seems like two different problem from the codes. The vehicle did have major transmission work but I don't think it is related to the stalling.

My o2 volkswagon has codes p0725, p1850 and p1780. What do they mean?

There is a forum thread at the link. Check the powertrain fuses first. Then look over the pcm connector and harness. Apparently the guy on the thread finally replaced the pcm.

OBDII codes

The other codes are related to the transmission control system. O would focus on getting the car started. I will guess you are getting no sparks. This could all be caused by a bad crankshaft position sensor.

I have a 2004 VW Passat the engine light came on had it diagnosed the code is P0322 what does it mean and how is it fixed? Thanks

Symptoms- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Lack/Loss of Power
- The engine may be harder to start
- The engine may stumble or stallPossible causes- Ignition/Distributor engine speed sensor harness circuit is open or shorted
- Ignition/Distributor engine speed sensor poor electrical connection
- Faulty Ignition/Distributor engine speed sensor
- Faulty Crankshaft Position sensor
- Low battery charge
- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)When is the code detected? The P0322 code is triggered when the Engine Control Module (ECM) detects no signal.P0322 VOLKSWAGEN DescriptionIgnition failure sensor is used to check whether the spark ignition is occurred correctly or not and also used to tachometer drive. The sensor monitors the voltage difference between a resistance which is on the battery circuit for ignition coil. When the ignition coil works properly, the electric current through the resistance is detected as voltage drop. This is confirmed for every ignition event with the crankshaft sensor and the camshaft sensor. If ECM detects a malfunction, no ignition is possible, so the engine would not start. If there is no ignition signal for a predetermined cycle for one or two ignition coils, an ignition coil circuit failure exists.

2002 jetta tdi, got code po 725, p1780, p1850. Transmission starts in second gear and will not go in to fourth gear. Any help? Thank you

i had a few of these pop up. The PCM and the ECM had a brain fart. Have the codes cleared and if you have the same luck as me all will be back to normal. That was the fix...
