Dodge caravan 2002 error code P1687 - 2002 Dodge Caravan

This is a problem with the data bus. Usually caused when one module on the data bus is bad. This is not something you can DIY diagnose without a high end scan tool. Job for a pro.

Are you having any trouble with heater/AC controls?

same errors with dammaged or non functioning NLDP "natural leak detection pump" smoke test did not find any leaks in or around pump but yet had small and large leak detection codes, replaced unit and reset codes, two weeks later and all is well.

The color code is part of the vin number. Call the dealer with the vin and they should be able to tell you the color

Have fuel system (injectors) and throttle body cleaned. Belt is OK most likely.

i have a 2002 dodge caravan drove fine yesterday morning then tried to go back out and acts like it is stuck in 2nd gear and wont shift but will go in reverse just no other forward gears
