i suspect that their is a rusty damaged toothed sprocket on one of the wheels and as its a rear wheel drive vehicle then it could be a back one which is what i would check first
You have 4 wheel speed sensors. There is one at each wheel located just behind the hub. You can trace it by loacting the black insulated wire leading out from the wheel well and going behind the wheel.
your traction control mechanism uses the abs breaks to slow the spinning and give you better traction. i'm thinking your traction control sensor has gone bad
check the wiring and connections to and around the abs sensors and transmission if good have car scanned for the trouble code most auto stores such as auto zone/advanced auto scan for free check ur local area the code will help u in repairing ur problem
If the ABS (and likely the traction control) light came on at the same time that the speedometer stopped working, you likely have a faulty wheel speed sensor at the right rear wheel. You can test this by swapping the two rear wheel speed sensors (ABS sensors). If the speedometer then works (but the ABS & Traction control lights stay on), replace the sensor that is now at the left rear (was at the right rear). If no change, you may have a fault in the ABS & Traction control - control unit.
When the DSC Dynamic Stability Control light is ON your traction control is OFF. It will sometimes trigger the ABS light and the Rev Limiter it is an engine protection FAIL SAFE mode. Check your brake switch on the brake pedal, this sounds like the problem wen replaced it will reset the Rev limiter, if the ABS light comes Check the wheel sensors
An ABS sensor DOES affect the traction control system. Traction control uses these sensors to determine if a wheel is losing traction. A bad sensor will cause both the ABS and TRACTION lights to come on.
The CHECK ENGINE light however is going to be a seperate problem.
