I think I remember. Do this, pull the knobs off and you'll see 2 9/16s nuts use a deep well socket to loosen but don't remove look under the dash for the brace on the rear of the radio, remove the brace then the nuts. The radio comes out the back and you may have to remove heater control cables in order to get it out. I hope this helps. Take care.

How do i remove the radio

Removing the radio is quite an undertaking. I had the exact unit and you had to remove the dash to get to the radio. It takes an expert mechanic about four to six hours to remove the dash install the radio and replace the dash. Good Luck!!!

Where is the Turn Signal relay located on a '00 Intrigue?

It's up under the left side of the dash, attached to the same bracket as the body control module. But sometimes the problem is in the hazard switch - try pressing it when the signals don't work and that often brings them back to life. Also, check the ground wire to the left of the base of the steering column.

I have to replace the ignition switch. Do I have

Check out http://99intrigue.shutterfly.com/ignitionswitch. You don't have to remove all of the dash, just the radio and instrument cluster. It's not a big deal - hardest part is getting off the park lock cable, but if you remove the dash center vents, it's a cakewalk.

Radio Installation for a 96 Oldsmobile Achieva

I just replaced my radio on my 97 olds so im thinking it should be the same. You have to completely remove the lower dash. this involves popping many of those lock things but be careful cause they break easy. Also you will need to remove multiple screws from around the lower dash, then it will just drop down and you can remove the radio.
