If the code keep coming after replacing the switch and tested the glow plugs and deleting the code then it may be or could be the type of oil you use. As far as the rough start it may be the injection pump. I remmber your Isuzu has recall on injection pump that year check the pump and if any recall. How that give you another prospective to help troubleshoot the problem. God bless

After warm up, disconnect the wires to the cold start switch and see will it start easily after warm up. If it starts easily, you found your problem. Cold start switch being faulty will keep giving it too much fuel making it a rough start after warm up. Remember, this stuff is operated by a computer now.

I have a 1998 Bighorn 3.0L if the wrong grade of oil is used in the motor it miss fires and runs rough, due to the injectors being oil pressure controlled, I have heard of extreme cases causing a failure to start when cold. good luck

SOURCE: i cannot start my isuzu bighorn w/4jx1 engine. we already changed the turbo but still it emits too much smoke in the exhaust and after a while the engine goes wild and we cannot turn it off in the ign

Its a diesel and its running away so do not try to start till you do the following and yes i know i will be amolished for being a cowboy by the other experts but what you do is to make a gasket for the EGR valve from a coca cola can and seal it off if you dont it may run away and blow itself to pieces .If you do this then it run as normal as the older trucks never had these thing fitted and they all run ok in my day ,exactly whats wron i couldnt tell you without my head under the bonnet but do as i say and it run perfectly

Isuzu Wizard 3.0l diesel showing P0193 and P0198 ENGINE CODES. What is the problem and how should it be solved?

193 is fuel pressure error and 198 oil temperature is too high.
I would suspect a broken wire.

Why the diesel mixed in engine oil for isuzu bighorn 4jx1 ,how to fix?

lots of ways.
all bad.
someone poured it in is 1. (jiffyboobs?)
extreme engine flooding may be one way, on a very worn engine.
leaking past very bad piston rings.
or the induction filled up with Diesel and backed up to some vent to crankcase, (PCV system, breach)
or far worse , cracks where cracks dont belong.

My isuzu wizard 1999 model diesel mixes with oil, I was thinking to change Nozzles the engine is 4jx1

If oil mixes in the combustion chamber, then you're up for an engine overhaul. Nozzle changes won't do.
