1998 BMW 328i heater/AC blower is not running

I got a old 1998 BMW 328i. The heater/AC blower is dead - not sure the cause. There is no air blow when I turn on the fan speed. No heat or cool air come out when I turn on heat or AC. The fuse is good. Switch show LED speed. What should I check for: - Blower resistor
- Blower unit
- Temperature sensor
- Defect switch
Has anyone runs across this problem?

You have clean the blower unit , may be its dirty then . and then check the blower resistor unit for malfunction.

If the temperature control is on cool....sounds like you have other problems with AC. ( compressor not working, needs R134,) Check under the hood for a box that has fuses in it, their are also relays in it. Look for the relay marked AC.

1998 BMW 328i AC Blower dead or on and off intermittently

Check the wire harness connector on the final stage unit for loose connection before replacing the final stage unit/blower resistor. I just fixed mine and found a loose connection. Good luck!

BMW 328i 1996 Heater not blowing hot air How do I flush the heater core

You cant just flush the core, youre going to have to flush the whole system. There is a kit but i recommend going to a lube shop. Another cause could be the radiator cap.

AC/Heater blower fan stops blowing air into the cabin when I accelerate.

Usually a vac leak. I would check for a leak in the HVAC control system and the line thru the firewall to the engine.

Hi My heater and air con has stopped blowing

Hi!!

Let's start with the basics, check blower motor and AC fuses and relays, also take a visual check to the wiring going to the Blower Motor (Firewall, passenger side). Look for broken wires and loose electrical terminals.

Let me know how it went.

Good Luck!!!
