If you live in the US, take it to qany Auto Zone store and thy will read the codes off for you, I would suspect any right thinking competitor would do the same, check if you don't have one near by.

This is from the factory service manual of your car:
There is no onboard programming procedure for this vehicle. This vehicle requires special equipment be connected to the vehicle to program the keyless remote. Translation you need the dealer to do this.

it uses a spring loaded tensioner.use a breaker bar to rotate the tension and it should just come off.if u need a pic or anything else to do it let me know,

There is a piece inside that is prone to breaking. It makes the starter and flywheel connect

My 2007 Santa Fe is locking up , feels like from the back end, a nasty grinding noise, then it kicks up. Al the brakes are good and new, any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like a bad bearing. Either a wheel bearing or differential bearing if it is all wheel drive.

I have a 2002 santa fe with 144000 miles and while driving it's starting to jerk what could this be?

If it happens throughout accelerating it sounds like a slip in the trans ($1,000). If it jerks & clucks when you let off the gas and reapply the gas it is most likely wear in the rear differential ($500). My 2002 Santa Fe GLS AWD needed both at about 180,000 miles... but that was all it ever needed.

Sold it with 291,912 miles. The new owner has driven it now twice to Charlotte and once to Orlando without an issue. Great car!
