No, not on any vehicle, if it dont work its allready bypassd, You have a magnet in the cover that sometimes cracks and falls down. This removable sensor has to relay that magnet signal on every revolution.

it might be this sensor I can't think of the name of it but it is located by the thermostat. it is held on with 2 10mm bolts and has a connector similar to the mass sensor on it. This sensor controls spark.

you know. i took it to a mechanic and actually.... The timing belt cut the Crank Shaft Censor... So it was the crank shaft censor again. The wires were routed wrong from the first mechanic that "fixed" the car.
