Reduced Transmission Performance error message on my 2014 Volvo V40 T4 49000 miles / 80000km on the clock Fully serviced without any prior problems

Your revs are higher because the transmission is not shifting into the higher gear ranges. There is an apparent problem in your transmission that needs immediate attention. In the U.S., this is called "limp mode" and is designed to keep you from being stranded but to also make you so uncomfortable with the performance that you will take it for service as soon as possible. If it were my car, I would have it towed to a dealer for service. If you can't tow it, drive it SLOWLY to the nearest dealer while watching the tachometer and keeping it under under 2,500 RPM. Good luck.

High presser intappit cover

Hi,

Initially, pls check/clean/replace (if warranted) PCV valve and the vent hose it is attached to. Further, it may help to have the compression of your engine checked. Pls post back results.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

2008 hyundai accent clutch slipping, i think?

seems a bit early for clutch. how many k's? I would start by checking the intake tube for splits & security & airflow sensor. they will cause the engine to rev but no response (like a slipping clutch) so its manual right?

Volvo v 40 non gdi high revs constant

Still think ot vacuum related .This will push the revs up sky high .Get a good cigar and pulloff a vacum pipe .Take a good puff on the cigar now puff the emoke down the vaccum pipe .Now do you know what your looking for .You got it ,,, smoke ,,,,than you have found the leak.Thats if you have one ..Can you get a obd check it will tell you what it is ..Thermostat removal wont change the engine revs

My clutch is not returning back to normal it is half way and when i rev it goes hi and doesnt take off it goes slow

the clutch not returning all the way is a clutch master/slave cylinder problem. The high revving and not going normal speed, is a clutch slipping problem. try replacing the master and slave cylinder, bleed to lines, and see if that fixes it. If not..then its time to replace the clutch.
