Compare the fluid fill , then do a conversion. Ask ,google, akexa, or bixby. Otherwise the full line is the full line for the vehicle if it's a direct replacement. Stay between the two lines

Transmission shouldn't have a dip stick. its a dealer only component and voids any warranty if you add any fluid to it yourself.

SOURCE: nitro dipstick

Believe it or not, it doesn't have one. It just has a cap with no dipstick over the tranny fluid fill tube. You have to take it to the dealer, or a shop with the "speacial tool" (dipstick) to measure it. Some speculate that this may be due to the fact that Chrysler has had a bad rap for a number of years related to their transmissions. The don't want consumers adding the wrong type of tranny fluid (dextron) to the vehical thereby creating shifting and other issues. Rediculus if you ask me. Hope this helps. Look on ths side the transmission is located on, and look for a yellow handled dipstick. It should be on the front of the transmission somewhere

you have no dipstick in the manual trans. it's non-maintenance kinda system and its sealed.
unless it's leaking you don't need service.

HOW MANY QUARTS OF TRANSMISSION FLUID DO I USE FOR A DODGE NITRO 2007. 3.7 LITER ENGINE.

Hello Sarah,

You shouldn’t need to add transmission fluid as most Dodge products of this year had no maintenance transmission with no dipstick.

Did you have to remove the pan, or are you losing transmission fluid?

Check engine light on 2011 dodge nitro

Hey guys I have a 2011 Dodge Nitro 3.7 and today my engine light came on and it was running like I was on rumble strips. I floored it and it sputtered and ran terrible then the light started flashing then I cut it off tried to reset still the light came on. I put the scanner on it and it turned out to be the coil plug on the #3 cylinder. COIL PLUG. Hope this helps out GOD BLESS!

Where is the place to put transmission oil

The transmission fluid goes in the same tube that holds the dip stick that you check the fluid levels with. You will need a funnel, and be sure to use only manufacturer recommended fluid in your vehicle. Be careful not to over fill. Ensure the Galant is at operating temperature by driving it for about 10 minutes. 2: Open the hood of the Galant and locate the automatic transmission fluid reservoir and dipstick on the driver's side of the engine. The dipstick is labeled "ATF" and is red. 3: Pull the dipstick out of the reservoir, wipe it clean with a rag and reinsert it. Remove it once more and take the measurement of the current fluid level. Do not add any fluid if the fluid is already at the "Full" line; overfilling the reservoir can damage the transmission. If the measurement is between the "Full" and "Add" lines or below the "Add" lines, then continue to Step 4: Insert a funnel into the reservoir and pour a small amount of transmission fluid into the container. Check the fluid levels again by removing the funnel and inserting the dipstick into the reservoir. Pull the dipstick back out and read the fluid level on the dipstick. Continue this process until the fluid is at the "full" line. If you would like to do a transmission filter kit I have found a site with full color pictorial and instructions. Pretty handy!!!
