DIC screen flickers on my 2014 chevy spark

The DIC screen will flicker off and then will only display what gear I am in and the RPMs only. After parking and letting the car sit it goes back to the normal screen when started. There are no codes either.

SOURCE: flickering lights

In some 1999/2000 Cougars the wire between the battery and the voltage regulator(altenator) had a resistance reading that is too high. Ford has issued an TSB 00-25-6 that has instructions on how to replace this wire. The part # for the replacement wire is
1S8Z-14A411-AA. I'm in Michigan and a local dealer found one for me in South Bend,IN

SOURCE: 2004 PT Cruiser headlights and dash lights flicker

Your alternator is starting to show its age. If you get it tested you will likely find that under load it is not putting out 14+Volts. It is probably closer to 12 and it's time to retire it or get it rebuilt. If the battery is the same age as the alternator get it tested as well with a "load test" to make sure it is still healthy. Hope this helps.

1996 Chevy S10 LED headlights flickering

There are a few possible reasons why the LED headlights on your 1996 Chevy S10 might be flickering:
  1. The LED bulbs might be incompatible with your vehicle's electrical system. If the LED bulbs are not specifically designed for use in your S10, they may not work properly and could cause flickering.
  2. There might be a problem with the vehicle's electrical system. If the electrical system is not providing a stable power supply to the headlights, they may flicker.
  3. The LED bulbs might be defective. If the bulbs are flickering even when they are not in use, they may be faulty and need to be replaced.
To fix the flickering problem, you will need to diagnose the root cause. Start by checking to make sure that the LED bulbs are compatible with your S10. If they are, try replacing them with a different set of LED bulbs to see if this fixes the issue. If the problem persists, you may need to have your vehicle's electrical system checked by a mechanic.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Chevy cavalier 2004, won't start in morning, all display lights on panel start flickering and create noise. When it gets stable then it gets start and whole day start in first attempt.battery is new.sp

Check that the earth contact between the body of the car and the electronic module, or the computer box is properly fastened. If any any one of these components are not earthed properly to the body this will happen and as it gets a bit warmer and expands it will then make proper contact, until it cools down and contracts again to re-create the problem. Most of the earthing contacts on either components are made of aluminium and this eventually stars coroding causing gunge to build up around the contact area between the surfaces. Check for these possibilities. Good Luck!

2003 with 3-0 well maitained. truck misfires at slow speeds.mechanic put computer on it and it indicated misfired on #1 cylinder at 1000 rpms changed wires didnt solve the problem. engine light still comes...

A misfire on this type of vehicle can be due to 2 factors if it missing spark it will trigger a misfire code and it you have a bad INJECTOR. Most misfires are due to missing spark but there are quite a few in my experience that were due to bad injectors or bad injector wiring. To check this you need a NOID light disconnect injector wire on suspected cylinder in your case #1 and connect wire to NOID light (engine must be running for this) Your NOID light should have a consistent flickering light going while vehicle runs at idle. If light its NOT flickering at a steady pace and flickers erratically. THE PROBLEM IS A BAD Injector wiring or a bad computer. If light flickers consistently and in a steady pattern then YOU HAVE A BAD INJECTOR. Replace injector and that will solve this problem. I know this is a lot of info but It will help you alot. Good luck and thanks for using FIX YA
