SOURCE: NEED 2007 CHEVY MALIBU RADIO CODE

I just got the code for my radio by calling 1-800-537-5140 and choosing the option for my vehicle make. 1 for chevrolet. then i entered 106010 for the customer # and then entered my serial # from the stereo and it gave me a lock code for free. Now i am just trying to figure out how to enter it since my manual tells me to take it to the dealership. Now that you have your 4 to 6 digit code, you can enter it by following the these steps. 1. Make sure your ignition is in the "on" position, but no started. 2. Press/Hold the "HR" button to set the first 2 or 3 numbers. 3. Press/Hold the "Min" button to set the next 2/3 numbers. 4. Press the AM/FM button one time. "SEC" should be displayed. You can now turn the radio on. Good luck!

SOURCE: HOW DO YOU REMOVE RADIO FROM 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU

at the bottom of your dash you will start seein bolts you have to take out almost all the bolts around the bottom line there should be 8 or ten. The tricky part is gettin the two in the corners of the glove box. its not to hard from there then you pop everything out til you get to the bolts around the stereo. i would recommen not tryin to tear ur car up so take ur time if it feels tight look for another bolt cuz you dont wanna break tha clip at all.. if you have any other problems from there then idk its just the bolts n poppin all the clips.

Rear speakers on my 02 chevy Malibu not working don't know why iv tryed everything when I bought the car it worked and then out of nowhere it stoped working

If the radio fader is adjusted fully to the rear and there is no sound the speakers and wiring should be tested.

Best way of testing is to remove the radio to access the wiring to the speakers. Identify the pairs of wires to the rear speakers and apply a 9 volt battery to each pair. If the speakers and wiring are good they will make some noise and the fault will be either the connection to the radio or the radio is defective.

If no noise is heard when applying the voltage, the rear speakers should be accessed, disconnected and tested in the same way. If you have noise it is the wiring at fault. If no noise the speakers are faulty.

The result of testing can be verified at every stage by using a known good speaker and a couple of micro jumper cables.

My rear speakers won't work in my 2001 Malibu. Stock system and wires to speaker okay. fader set Correct. Could it be speakers are junk?

Get a known good speaker an hook it up in place of the old ones an see if it works , if it does the old one is no good . Now if it doesn't work the radio isn't set correctly or that channel of the radio is blown .

No sound from rear speakers in 2005 Chevy Malibu

Have someone check the plug ins on the speakers with a test light for power. If they show to have power, then the speakers are probably bad.make sure the car s ignition switch is in the on /acc mode with the radio on.

My 2002 chevy malibu's radio seems to be shorting out, the radio will work fine but randomly the sound shuts off the radio still shows the radio station and even says which artist is playing but there...

I'd suggest using the balance and fade controls to cut out each speaker one by one. to possibly determine if you have shorted speaker or speaker wiring. As far as the turn signal clicking noise, the hazard switch is the actual flasher unit for the turn signals, and could be the culprit, but the most likely cause is the turn signal switch itself. It is usually caused by corrosion across the contacts, which can be cleaned out fairly easily, but more typically, the switch is just replaced
