SOURCE: need 1993 plymouth voyager serpentine belt diagram

Which engine?
To replace the drive belt or serpentine belt on a Voyager check the engine size. For 2.4L engines, a serpentine belt runs the air conditioning compressor and alternator. For 3.0L models, the alternator and power steering share a belt with a separate belt for the AC. Dodge recommends checking the belts every 15,000 miles or 12 months for possible replacement. I have gone 3 yrs with one.. it will start squealing when you turn on the heater to defrost..

Most replacement belts have a diagram on the package. However, the easiest way is to pay close attention to the belt you are taking off, and replace the new one the same way. The pulleys themselves are usually 'grooved' or 'smooth' which tells you whether the front or back of the belt is against it. The hardest part is figuring out how to release tension on the idler-pulley. If you can get the belt on and the idler/tension pulley (same thing) pulls the belt tight, chances are you got the belt right. If you don't know what I mean, then the mostest best way is to get a Clymer Manual and read up. Its really a simple thing to do yourself.

I used a long heavy duty screw driver to release the tension on a Pontiac Sunbird.. the belt will only fit on one way..

Taillight won't burn but turn signal works. Wrong bulb?

Some vehicles use a double filament bulb, if one of the filaments is 'burnt' out then the turn signal would work but the running/brake light would not work.

Location of flasher unit on 93 Plymouth Voyager My signal lights and flashers will only work when it is very hot. Previously, my left turn signal blinked very rapidly but now blinks normally. Could it...

You are having problems with grounding issues. Take your turn signals apart and clean the corrosion out of the light sockets. Replace any bulbs that are blackened inside or not clear. When all the light sockets are clean all blinkers should work/flash correctly.

1193 plymouth voyager. Brake lighs don't work

Maybe a relay or fuse is bad or the wiring to it.

But you said that the third brake light works.

So the brake switch must be ok.
Turn signals would be the flasher or wiring to it.prev.gif next.gif
CIRCUIT PROTECTION Fuse Block Fig. 1: The fuse box is located under a cover at the lower left instrument panel — 1987 Voyager shown 85616099.jpg
The fuse block and relay bank is located on the driver's side under the lower instrument panel. The fuse block contains fuses for various circuits as well as circuit breakers, horn relay, ignition lamp thermal time delay, and the turn signal flasher. The hazard warning flasher is mounted into a bracket below the fuse block. The individual fuse and relay locations can be found in the wiring diagrams at the end of this section.

My 2000 Plymouth Voyager right turn signal won't work, i changed bulbs and it still didn't work, the brake and reverse lights work with those same bulbs

Check the bulb socket for corrosion. This is a rather common problem. You can clean up the socket contacts and it should work, or if it's corroded badly you can replace the socket itself.
