the vehicle is old enough that the fan blower motor sounds like it is in need of replacing. when you hit the dash it causes the brushes in the motor to contact enough to start the electrical connection, it may stop when it gets hot, or is turned off. the ticking sound is more than likely the bearings wore in the motor enough to cause the cage fan to touch the housing enough to cause the sound.

renault ?? my favourite vehicle love them i really do ,but only when i put them in the scrapyard .Right now what you have here is a complete and one and only rush job for a bonus so take it back the garage and get them to put it right and dont pay them a penny ,centimo,or a dime for them to put it right ,i suspect that they have left a vacumn pipe off or something stupid like a connection in a multiplug ,this is their problem and their oblidged to put it right for free.

have you checked ,,or had ,,your timing checked or had work done on your cam shaft timming belt or tensionsers are you due a cam belt change?? check the engines timming before you go on,, then go one item at a time after that
