SOURCE: HELP ? WERE IS THE TIMING MARKS ON A RENAULT

their isnt none ,you need a special kit to locate the timing ,where a bolt is removed in the bottom of the block just infront of the bell housing at the front of the engine and a special bolt put in that locates the crankshaft. Now their is no crankshaft keyway on this motor and the bottom pulley bolt has to be pulled up to 120lbs ,for this their is another piece that bolts to a starter motor bolt hole and locks the ring gear up .You should be able to buy ths kit in a auto factor its kit number ast 4390 .
