SOURCE: oil pump replacement

If the pan is not broken free all the way around, you will need to make sure it is. Then the oil pump pick up tube is going to mess with you, and you may have to turn the crank manually to get the crank journal out of your way. Drop the pan down and forward only -Ned_

SOURCE: check engine light on 2005 isuzu ascender, code

that code means that the coolant is cooler than it is supposed to be and it cannot be regulated...which means the thermostat is stuck open or broken,so replace the thermostat and that should solve your problem, hope this sheds a little light on it!

SOURCE: 2005 isuzu ascender my low beams headlights do not

First thing you need to check is the fuse, which should be under the hood. And then the bulbs. No... they didn't both burn out at the same time. They burnt out one at a time. You just don't notice iuntil the second one goes.

raise vehicle evenly undo pan bolts on trans (get correct fluid from auto store and service kit before) let drain and remove old filter (making sure drain tray is big enough to hold over 15 litres of trans fluid ) clean every thing spotlessly leavin no trace of lint or contamination in or on pan or trans . replace new filter and pan gasket , fill to the desired manufactures requirements. run thru all gears and check level if possible for correct level , if not possible what the manufactures requirements are. hope that works out well for you

I have a 2005 Isuzu ascender, the gauge light keeps coming on. The oil gauge drops to zero. I have gotten an oil change and new filter. What can the problem be now?

It could be a bad oil sending sensor, or the oil pump. When it drops, does the gauge stay on zero or fluctuates. The sending sensor isn't to bad to replace or cost wise, but pump is a different story. Have someone check the sending unit or just have it replaced to see if that's the problem.
