My sister gave me her 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Limited,transmission is know good. I was trying to purchase a transmission and was asked is a 4 speed or 5 speed? Please help me with the answer?

No idea why fixya keeps sending me questions about a 2002 Montero (Pajero). I have never owned one. I did own a 2005 Pajero diesel turbo but sold that in 2014 and now own a 2014 Triton.

Follow the top radiator hose down to the water outlet. The thermostat is inside the water outlet,Just remove the bolts,replace thermostat,replace gasket,bolt back in place.
Item 21 (the upper interior trim piece) needs to be removed, prior to removing the bottom piece #22. The only screws that hold #21 in are at the handle at the top, then you just pop it out. There are about 6 screws on the bottom part.
