There should be a platen on the bottom of the motor on the driver side in front of where the transmission bolts on. It looks like it is a plate sticking off of the motor casting itself. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: 2004 Porsche Cayenne Turbo problems

It should be noted that I personally do not own this car; my grandparents do. I've had the pleasure of driving it on a number of occasions though, and as I was the one who recommended it to them, I try to keep up on whether anything has gone wrong with it or not. And, to the best of my knowledge the car has been completely flawless. No reliability problems at all.

2004 porsche cayanne turboe valve adjustment

Most vehicles including Porshe V8 have hydraulic valve lifters, only early 911's had mechanical lifters as I recall, was a pain to adjust every 20K or so. If you are hearing a tap, it is probably stuck valve lifter, try Lucas Oil Additive to unplug it and free it up.

Good luck, FREE-PPV

Can i change my engine from porsche cayenne s model 2004 to turbo engine

Anything is possible. Whether it is legal or not, depends on where you live. However, just the fact that you would ask a question like that, makes me seriously doubtfull that you should attempt any such undertaking yourself.

If your Porsche is not fast enough for you...trade it in on a Veyron.

What is the good battery brand for porsche cayenne turbo

Interstate makes a good replacement battery. Be aware that the Cayenne turbo uses a water cooled alternator that fails and appears good, but drains the battery over a night or two. This brilliant design also takes out the waterpump when the alternator bearings disintegrate and spit metal bits into the coolant that ruins the waterpump seal. It took me two waterpumps and a new battery to learn this little gem.

It might be related to the power steering pump, I had a similar problem and bled the system and topped up with fluid and it solved it.
