05 wiper fuse - 2005 Dodge Caravan

Fuse for wipers is for the wiper motor .

have you checked your fuses headlights ,tail lights and brake lights are all on one fuse .then if the fuse is ok check to see if the bulbs are all ok.better still replace them.and then do the same as for the fuse for your wipers

check all fuses in fuse panel and under the hood

check the linkages at your wiper motor. check the wires for power to the motor.

Your switch is probably gone bad.For the time being you can yank the wiper fuse till you get it looked at.

WINDSHIELD WIPERS

It can be faulty wiper motor or blown wiper control fuse.

Do you hear any kind of noise when you starter the wiper function. If yes then fuse is ok, but issue is wiper motor.

If no movement at all and no noise then its blown fuse or shorted/loose wiper control wiring: -----

Start with the basics. could be something as simple as the fuse. I have a 03 Tribute so i guess it is the same model as yours! if so. The fuse can be found in the fuse box in the passenger footwell. There is a small inspection plastic cover in the kick panel. if you un clip the cover, on the reverse side you will find a tool that clips onto the mini blade fuses to extract them (very useful). Also on the reverse side of the cover is a list of the fuses and to what it relates. The rear wiper fuse from memory is approx a 1/4 of the way down the left column of fuses 10A but just confirm on the list. Mini blade fuses are usually coloured but transparent so you will be able to see if the fuse element is still in tact, but always best to double check with a continuity meter. Hope this helps.
