SOURCE: misfiring

A typical tune up includes spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, spark plug wires, distributor cap and ignition rotor. You must determine which parts are needed before you start.
I would suggest to first check spark plugs and spark plug wires.

SOURCE: Can't find transmission fluid dipstick in 2001

the daewoo lanos has no dipstick. The owners manual suggests that you take the car to a dealer to have them check it. Im sure they want you to pay them for frivolous things. Hence daewoo is no longer sold in usa. I wonder why Answer #2 A grey plastic plug with a large screwdriver slot in it located on the top of the transmission box when unscrewed and removed reveals a small dipstick attached to the underside of the plastic plug. This is also where you add any new transmission oil should you drain it or need to top it up.

Need to source front break caliper slider pin kit guide bolts for Daewoo Lanos 2001 1.3 hatchback. Have searched internet without success. Can anyone help or direct me to a source? Many thanks

Daewoo were bought out and rebadged Chevrolet (over here) to initially provide a second life for ageing Vauxhall designs and technology.
For a time Daewoo was just about the cheapest car to keep on the road but General Motors changed all that and now the stuff is more expensive than many of the spares for the mainline models even though they are still slightly inferior to them in design and build quality.

If you still have trouble in spite of this new information I suggest you search for parts by brake manufacturer, which is usually marked on the body of the brake caliper.

Daewoo Lanus 5 door hatchback 1997. The liquid has come out of the air conditioning. I had the liquid replaced, but it leaked out again after a week. What to do please? Thanks

Use an ultar-violet torch to find the leak. The fluid reacts to the light and glows to identify the leak. Check hoses, pipes , valves, compressor, reciever and matrix for signs of leak. The garage that cherges your aircon for you should be able to do this for you quite easily.

2001 daewoo lanos, blinkers dont work

Here is some extra information on replacing the Daewoo Lanos indicator / hazard lights relay. Open the driver door, on the side of the dashboard there is an access panel. Flip it open with a screwdriver.
Now you can pull out a violet connector block. The relay is plugged into this block, it is green. You can just pull it out of the connector block and replace it by a new one. The part number is 96312545, and it has three pins, numbered 31, 49 and 49A.
Other specifications: 12V 2/4x21W. It is made by Daewoo / DECO. The same type of relay is used in the Daewoo Matiz. I picked up a used relay from an old Matiz for 2 euros and the indicator/hazard lights work like
a charm again. The whole replacement took about 2 minutes, but it took me days to get the used part. Probably other relays with these three pins will work too: google for "31 49 49A". Hope this is useful to other people who run into problems with the Daewoo Lanos indicator lights!
