I have a 1996 pathfinder r50 that will not drive off in d untill warm,after warm all ok

2001 Nissan Pathfinder R50 3.3Liter,3.3 L , NO CRANK! Auto trans or manual trans.? I will guess AUTOmatic trans A/T
all fuses good,. fuse e=40amp and fuse 18,10amps?(MUST)
(batteries can be intermittent)
Is car in USA> it was sold here too but is yours?
does this car have IMMO/ALARM, or remote START kit on it?
when failing does it fails jumper cable jump started off a running 2nd car or truck?
does it fail to crank in NEUTRAL , PRNDL , foot brake shift to N and crank? hummmmmmmm1
1 do held lamps work key one and keyoff.
2: is IMMO lamp glowing wrong/ per users guide.(lost?)
3: alarm active>(failing)
4: remote start kit put in and fails. (I disable all I SEE)
got NVIS (Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System - Nats)??
NATs tells ECU to not allow engine to run, NO NATS does not stop cranks this car.
the 2 fuses above power the P;/N RELAY (starter relay)
if in P or N the relay closes at key start wire to relay coil action
the 40 amp fuse passes through relay and starter spins and cranks the engine, over.




this is it, if you see wire hacks here, for remote start.
not good that. as you can see IMMO has no bock here.

If you have an engine light on, get it scanned. It sounds like you may have a bad tps.

Do you mean upshifting starts way early? Going from 2nd to 3rd in other words?
Ireally don't know your transmission,but the alternator problem might've possibly spiked and hurt your shifting solenoids in the ******. don-ohio (:^)

Usually 4 liters and a bit but always check the dip stick after 3.5 liters to be sure not to overfill. ................Hope this helps.

My jeep does the same thing but from 1st to 2nd i was told the solenoid valve in my valve body sticks until the fluid is warmed up and opens up.Cheapest thing to do is let your jeep warm up for a little bit to let the fluid cycle.

check the coolant level in the radiator when the engine is cold and fill it to the top, and fill the overflow container to the full mark,

check your turn signal switch

Needs to be serviced.the oils will be over spend and the filters will be full of junk.

check engine normally when the check engine flash will driving there a chance that if you continue to drive like that the cata lytic convertor will be damaged because engine is not firing on all cylinder.when the check engine light on there a faulty sensor you have to get the car check out on a scanner to see the problem hope it help you fixya our post thank you pierre
