With electric fans it’s almost always the fan motor. To check it run wires from the positive and negative battery posts directly to the fan motor connector. If it doesn’t run the fan motor is defective.

Ac fan runs even when off pulling down the battery

I am not familiar with the X5, but most cars electric fans are controlled by a thermostat. If the thermostat, or the associated relay is stuck or defective, this could cause this problem. BE AWARE however that most fans stay on for a time to cool the engine, even after shut down. If your battery is weak, the fan staying on could draw the battery down.

As their make and model suggests they are different and therefore could not be interchanged, fitting a BMW M5 Wheels in the BMW M3 will not work since they have different offset, and forcing it to fit for the M3 would damage your bearing and some part of the steering in the long run, that could possibly result in an accident, innovations such as these must be first consulted from a certified BMW mechanic as only them could do the job properly and they can guarantee their job. Every Car model are engineered to perfection all of its parts are designed to work in harmony with each other, altering one of them which is not suited with other part would greatly affect the performance of your car.

Hi, problem with my bmw is engine getting too hot after 15 mins driving, i checked colling system and egine oil, everthing is fine but one thing i realised the engine fan does not kick in when engine get...

Try checking any fuses and relays related to the cooling fans, replace the relays if your not sure if they are bad. The testing on that may be a little involved as there are a number of things that factor in controlling those fans and when they turn on and off. may be in cheaper for you to just have it diagnosed at a reputable repair shop.

AC Electric fan does not work(BMW 740il 1996 model)

If your ac auxilliary fan does not work while the AC is on, yet the ac cools while the car is moving, then you need to replace the ac aux fan resistors. there is a kit available for this problem and is not that expensive. the fans very rarely go bad, just the resistors usually. If your fan is turning, then it is something else. This is a common issue.

How do you change clutch on bmw m3 3.2 evo 1998

No, the engine does not need to come out. However, if you have ASC+T or even if you don't, you may finit useful to unbolt the throttle body from the intake manifold so it doesn't damage your brake fluid reservoir while you are lifting the front end of the engine in order to lower the back end of the tranny. Also remove your fan clutch and use a cherry picker on the hook over the water pump so the front of the engine doesn't come down and puts unnesscessary strain on your motor mounts.
