Blower motor will not turn on

Could be ! could also be the blower motor is bad or blower motor control module .
Does you buick have manual or automatic climate control ? There is a fuse box under the rear seat ,that is where fuse is for blower motor .HVAC BLWR fuse 40 amp. Chevy Trailblazer EXT Blower Motor Won Turn Off

check all your wireing

If you pulled the 10 amp fuse in the I/P fuse block and the blower still worked than the the blower motor module is most likely the problem. It is fed by a 30 amp fus4e in the fuse block under the rear seat. That fuse is always hot and always supply power to the blower motor module. If you pull that fuse and the blower stops than it's pretty likely the blower module is the problem.

The blower module is located near the blower motor. It is usually held in place with 2 screws and will have four or five wires at the connector.

TURN ON CONTROL SWITCH TO CHECK TO SEE IF POWER GOING TO BLOWER MOTOR IF YES BLOWER MOTOR BAD.IF NO POWER GOING TO BLOWER MOTOR FUSE AND RELAY GOOD.YOU HAVE BROKE WIRE BETWEEN SWITCH AND BLOWER MOTOR OR CONTROL SWITCH FAULTY. TO GET TO BLOWER MOTOR ITS LOCATED UNDER THE DASH ON PASSENGER BEHIND GLOVE COMPARTMONT YOU DONT HAVE TO REMOVE GLOVE BOX ITS JUST BELOW IT FAR BACK.YOU NEED TURN OFF RADIO FIRST THEN DISCONNECT NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE WAIT 20 MINUTES THIS DISABLE AIRBAGS AND THE BCM.REMOVE BLOWER MOTOR HOTWIRE IT TO SEE IF ITS WORKS. IF NO BLOWER MOTOR NO GOOD.IF BLOWER MOTOR GOOD THE AC AND HTR CONTROL SWITCH IS BAD DEALERSHIP FIX.

Chk for power at the blower motor electrical connector. If no voltage, check the blower motor resistor, its within the blower motor vent (this controls power to the blower motor). Also, in theses vehicles water may have damaged the blower motor itself. Inspect the blower motor for proper function.

Did you find out a solution to your problem? I have a 1996 trooper that is showing most of the same symptoms that you have. I'm curious as to your fix. Was it simply a bad ground?
