During a rain event water pours out of a plastic screw plug on the bottom of the grab handle located on the frame between the windshield and the door frame on the drivers side as well as the passenger side front seats.

just finished tonight with the same problem on my 2000 ram, i cut the studs out with a drimel tool, and also the latch, with this out of the way the door opened easily,, have to replace bottom latch later . total time about 1 hour tigerhunting

I had this exact problem. You will need a new linkage assembly. One of the arms has broken off. If I recall, it wasnt cheap. Good luck.

You will have to open the door and remove the panel you will see on the metal rod a plastic rod connector it is off or worn out,the dealer has replacement parts,very cheap.

On the upper grill side of the headlight assy. there
should be 1 or 2 push pins that hold the seal on the
headlight assy to the front of the fender. Also check
for a guide/push pin on the inner top of the assy on
the outer fender side. That should be all there is to
hold the headlight in place. Hope this helps.
