emergency button it aint got.....pull away the trim inside the trunk to get to the release wire.(what car has an emergency button,never heard of one...)
Pull up rear seat and remove access panel to fuel tank sender/pump unit(held in place with screws).Remove inlet and outlet pipes,twist locking collar and remove unit.Take cre to let pump unit drain before removal or car will smell of fuel.

sounds like a pressure plate or relase bearing fault i would get them to remove the gearbox .
is the clutch hard to de press ?
or does the clutch slip ?
