On something like that will have to come from a junk yard.

Testimonial: "yes, I found one at a used auto parts yard."

Trailer Lights, I have a polarity problem. The LED tail lights on my trailer only work if I reverse the plug-in, any idea on how to fix this polarity problem.

Possibly the person that borrowed your trailer changed some of the wires. Old-type bulbs don't care about polarity, but LEDs do.

How do I install brake controler on 2015 chevy colorado

most aftermarket electric controllers have 4 leads, a hot 12volt, ground, a wire that goes to the trailer brakes, and another wire tied into the brake lights. There should be instructions included with your controller. I put one on my 96 dodge ram 2500 4x4.

Replaced factory radio with aftermarket radio, now heat, ac, radio, controls not working (checked fuses, none blown)

was this a hack job?> cutting wires. (cutting harness wires?)
or did you use those nice install kits with the connector pig tails
that find the factory harness connector.
if you messed it up, only the FSM can save you now.
read the schematics.
see ZJ

no electrical tape allowed (heat shrink)
no wire nuts (horror to max on cars)
no cannibal splices. (the cut in to factor wires, nasty they are)
or it can be bad.

Hey,I have an 03 chevy s10,I recently tried putting a pig tail on it (straight wired) and had no luck, gave up and crimped all the wire back together, and today a guy at work noticed I had no taillights,but...

I would check your tail light fuse first then test the brown wire in the tail light harness where you origionally cut into it. With the lights on there should be around 12v on it. if not you may have pulled the wire too hard and broke it upstream. Test to see if there is 12v at the fuse ad if there is, your trouble should be in the wire between the fuse and the spot where you cut into it.

Need to fix chraging system on alternator

If you have a pig tail on it just find another ford with a 5.0 and cut it off, splice into the wires and wire the new pig tail up. USE ELECTRIC TAPE, this is just a easy way to do it or you can buy a new fitting and wire it up that way, this way is alot easier for someone not knowing what they are doing

I am not getting power off of my trailer plug for my drivers side directional and brake light but it works on the truck. There is no power at the terminal or the wiring too the back of the trailer plug....

Id say your pig tail to the trailor is having high resistance or a wire is cracked, Follow the pigtail under bumper, It plugs into main harness, Disconnect and look for damage or a dry white powder. If everything else works as you say? And your positive the vehical being toweds lighting works on another vehical? than the pig tail is bad, replace at any local parts store
