Water pump should be ok but you can check it out. With the belt off wiggle the pulley. If there is any play in it replace it.
It is a precautionary act, water pump and tensioner should be replaced for peace of mind. The xost of replacing a water pump will be higher if it has to be changed at another time, a new belt
might have to be fitted too. Best to get it all done in one go is the current wisdom

SOURCE: Recommended type of struts for 2000 Toyota Avalon
II have found over the years that a company called MONROE makes a very high quality strut (around $50 each) and have never had a problem with them, they come in a gas charged strut cartriage and this is what u want, there are others out there but many like BILSTIEN that ride really rough and cost around $100 each
SOURCE: concern with the timing belt 1997 toyota avalon xls
The maintenance interval is 60,000 miles, but they usally last quite a bit longer before they fail.
This is a non-interference motor , meaning the valves will not hit the pistons if the belt brakes.
SOURCE: When/what should should timing belt be replaced
They last normally 90,000 to 100,000 miles in these cars.( I am unable to find an exact number from Toyota) I would recommend changing it if you have yet to. If you are not the one who put all the miles on it, remove the upper cover from the timing belt shield and inspect for cracking, fraying, etc on the belt (this should be 2-4 10mm bolts and it should pull straight up). If it was changed in the last 50K you will be able to tell as it will look almost like new..
It is also recommended that you change the water pump at the same time as it is driven buy the timing belt and requires removal of the belt to change it. Preemptively killing two birds with one stone so to speak.
SOURCE: how involved is timing belt replacement for buick century
Your car does not have a timing belt,it has a timing chain. To remove the cover you have to remove the power steering pump and set aside, water pump, crank sensor, and crankshaft pulley. You might possibly have to remove the oil pan also.Hope this helps.Good luck.
