Call Helm inc or go on line they print all of the factory manuals for the big car companys .You can get them way cheaper then a dealer .With a chevy these things are worth there in gold .

My 94 burns out ignition modules every couple of days, have replace cap rotor and put in the most expensive module still burns it out

Replace the ground on the back of the motor to the firewall, or ground from the hold down clamp on the distributor to the battery ground . Good Luck

Took a 305 out of my truck took it apart put it in my 1994 chevy subburban with all 350 parts runs good at idle but feels like timming is off on exselleration wat did i do wrong

Recheck the distributor. #1 and #8 on the distributor should be parallel with the fire wall. If they are not remove the distributor and use a long flat screwdriver and insert it in the hole and the the oil pump. do this untill you get the distributor to sit on the engine and the plugs are in the right position. Once you get this done you can time the engine with a timing light. Also if you swapped heads, you may need to do a valve adjustment. Let me know

Chevy k1500 5.7 v8 wont start

Sounds like your timing is off when you placed the distributor back in or your spark plug wires are crossed. Start with the simple and check the spark plug wire firing order. 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 Cylinder numbers drivers side 1-3-5-7 radiator to firewall. Cylinder numbers passenger side 2-4-6-8 radiator to firewall. Distributor cap #1 is at 5 O'clock and rotates clock wise. Once that is establish to be good then make sure the cylinder 1 is at TDC with the distributor rotor at the #1 position. Good luck and hope it's a crossed firing order.

My distributor is fine but i lost spark on my 1994 chevy k1500 with a 4.3l v6 vortec engine cannot figure it out checked everything i could think of what could be the problem?

change the ignition module located under the rotor in the distributor cap it has 2 small 8mm bolts and plugs into the distrutor wiring in the cap ( you,ll see) it is flat usually with 2 wires clipped into each end ..this will be the problem..I have changed many.
