2010 BMW 1 series. Battery was disconnected and since reconnecting it the driver's window switch will not operate the driver/passenger window. What's wrong?

Can operate the passenger window from the passenger side and if I use the key, I can open and close both windows that way

C200 kompressor 2003 wagon have SRS mulfunction light on.

Speculation without further details but 3 usual causes:
1. Clock spring in steering wheel for airbag open circuit.
To Test - disconnect battery-disconnect airbag ribbon from steering wheel -insert 3 -8ohm resistance bypass in airbag plug below steering column feeding clockspring. reconnect battery and see if light goes out after 5 seconds
2. Check passenger seat sensor operational.
To test - with ignition off - disconnect plug under passenger seat for sensor pad and insert test ohm resistance in feed plug. switch ignition on as test 1.
3. Check steering wheel button operation. if any radio actions do not work problem may be infrared link between steering wheel and radio (especially aftermarket modules)

I have a BMW series 1 120 , my problem is the passenger door window only opens to halfway it’s wont fully open any advise would be welcome

Does this happen with drivers side switch for passenger window or just passengers switch, there could be a problem with the motor itself or the window regulator. Some scanning equipment do have special functions in them to work window. Take to your local BMW specialist cheaper than dealer.

Why does the power window button blink on and off and the automatic feature doesn't work in the 2008 Toyota Sienna?

NOTE:
Anytime the batteryterminal has been disconnected, please initialize the driver's door power windowand front passenger's door power windowafter reconnecting the batteryterminal.

With ignition switchin the "ON" position, do the following:

1. Push down and hold the driver's door power windowswitch to completely open the window.
2. Pull and hold up the driver's door power windowswitch until the window closes.

Continue holding the switch for approximately one second until the switch changes from blinking to a constant illumination.
3. Check for proper operation of the "one-touch open and close" function by fully pushing the switch briefly to the "DOWN" and "UP" positions.

At this time the power window switchfor the passenger's door windowshould be blinking.
4. Push down and hold the passenger's door power windowswitch to completely open the window.
5. Pull and hold up the passenger's door power windowswitch until the window closes.
Continue holding the switch for approximately one second until the switch changes
from blinking to a constant illumination.
6. Check for proper operation of the "one-touch open and close" function by fully pushing the switch briefly to the "DOWN" and "UP" positions.

Lights on power window is blinking and passenger window will not lower from the drivers seat window panel. I have a Scion TC 2006.

First check to ensure the window locks are not on. If they are on simply turn them off and that should resolve your problem. However, I know there are situations in which if you had the battery disconnect it will cause this. Consequently disconnecting the battery can also fix the situation and then follow the below instructions. Or try the passenger side window switch first.

  1. Reconnect the battery terminal or fuse.

  2. Turn ON the ignition switch.

  3. Lower the window of each door halfway or more with the power window switch.

  4. Then close the window fully with the power window switch.

  5. Do not release the switch for at least 2 seconds after the window is fully closed.

Thanks

When the battery was unplugged from the car and then reconnected, the passenger side windows will not roll up or down on 2005 pt, I was told there is a reset button but do not know where. It cost a lot...

if the passenger windows work from the drivers side switch then the anti trap window mechanism need recalibrating.you need to hold the passenger switch on the drivers door switch pack down till it gets to the bottom and then hold the switch down for ten seconds then send it up when it gets to the top hold the switch in the up position for ten seconds repeat this for all other windows.if this fails try disconnecting your battery again.

The drivers side window switch will not control the passengers window. What's wrong?

Most likely burnt contacts in the door switch.
The switch can be carefully levered out of the door trim with a flat blade screwdriver , unplug the loom and carefully pry the switch apart with a flat bladed screwdriver. ( Do it somewhere clean and easy to find escaped springs and ballbearings, like on the kitchen table) .
Inside the switch are a series of rockers with contacts at either end. Clean up the contacts with some fine sandpaper.
Reassemble.
These instructions assume that the passengers window still works using the passengers side switch.
Good luck
