The computer has detected a problem with the emission system on the vehicle. Start by checking your gas cap is on and tight. Have a look under the hood for any disconnected hoses especially around the air filter assembly. The vehicle may have to be scanned to properly diagnose an emission fault

How do you change a camshaft position sensor ?

Don't change any sensors yourself. Contact Authorized Service Station or any Proficient Mechanic or Engineer, instead.

Where is the anti pollution filter located in a peugeot 307 petrol

There is no such thing as an anti pollution filter. All modern cars have complicated pollution control devices on them, and unless you know what you are doing and have the specialised test equipment, there is little that you can do yourself. If there is a light on the dash, then you are going to have to take it to a Peugeot mechanic. They will be able to do a diagnostic test using a laptop and hopefully this will narrow the fault down. They will then be able to give you a cost estimate to repair it. It is unlikely you will be able to fix this yourself.

Anti pollution fault

Finding a good garage is necessary for all car owners. Ask around for recommendations. You may be surprised to find it is a Midas shop or something unusual like that. They, and other shops that you only think do oil changes can do repair work.
Your problem may be that the car has gone a certain amount of miles, and wants something checked. Then the mechanic pushes a little button somewhere to reset the gizmo, and all is well.
Few people are familiar with Peugeots, so don't be surprised if it takes some time to find one who is. Mention that is is a Peugeot.

Anti pollution system fault light is on.

If the Anti pollution warning light is coming on the possible causes are endless. If the car is driving ok then that is a good sign, but please remember that modern management systems can mask problems quite well. The safest advice is to get it looked at and see what fault codes are appearing and then a diagnosis can begin, as leaving it is not going to be a good thing, it can go from a minor problem to more serious issues. At least the light is not flashing, which usually means an emission compliance problem and even more serious, but even so I would advise protecting your vehicle by getting it checked out as soon as possible to avoid potential damage.
----------
A fault in the ignition can cause an engine misfire and unburnt fuel gets into the exhaust causing the anti-pollution light to be triggered.

Check the ignition system for signs of damp or loose connections.------- I suggest get the car scanned at autozone service center. Its absolutely free to get car scanned. This will show the problem if you receive the error code.-------- Thanks.Helpmech.
