It is likely either the O2 (oxygen) sensor or the onboard computer that is malfunctioning. I suspect the sensor, which is much cheaper to replace. It is placed in the exhaust ststem just past the manifold.

The memory has been compromised,if the car will start and run,it might relearn,do not remove the cables again,but try driving the car with out the ac on,for 2 minutes,down the road,threw all the gears,then turn the ac on high blower motor,and drive it another 2 minutes,see if it relearns.If it will not,it ,the computer will have to be reprogrammed.

you need to have someone check the battery cable ends, sounds like you are loosing the ground circuit, when this happens the anti theft system will set, and you will losse the radio memory, probly just replae the battery cable ends and that should take care of the problem...good luck
