It appears that the hose to the carbon canister is either disconnected or has a hole in it. It won't hurt your car to drive it this way. If you are really concerned about it, replace the carbon canister and the connecting hose and forget about it for another 15 years or so.

The purge solenoid is by the engine and is connected to the vacuum system. Check the vacuum lines going to this and the lines that may be connected to the vacuum port it comes from. Check for seals on the solenoid if it is directly in the intake manifold. Other things to check are the lines (plastic) that go to the charcoal canister and fuel tank. If the light has been on for a while I would start with the pugre solenoid. If you have a vacuum leak there it would go from small to gross.
Small leaks are checked by the ECM constantly, gross leaks are some that has broke/cracked.

Look at the gas tank filler cap. Make sure the seal in the cap is good. If it is cracked it may be leaking air into the system. Simply replacing the cap usually fixes this problem

What will happen if P0455 code is not corrected on 2008 Kia LX

That code ( P0455 - Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (gross leak/no flow)) is for an item that's part of your emissions control system. Chances are when you take it in for inspection they will fail it due to the presents of this code. It might also be causing the MIL flag to be set, which is something they look for also.

The P0455 means " Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (large leak). You can try to clear the fault code with obd2 code scanner.

At least the cap isn't loose for the gas tank.

I would clear the code with an OBD-II Scanner 'erase code' button, and see how long it takes for it to come back.
