You will have to get this code from the manufacturer.

You'll have to take the radio out and get the serial number/model number and call the mitsubishi dealer and then they will give you the code. You can no longer give them the vin number. Hope this helps.

You will need to go to the dealer with the VIN of the car that it came out of to get the code, Most dealers will also ask for proof that you own the vehicle. They will then charge you a nice fee for the information.

You will need to pull the radio and record the serial number and model number off the radio chassis, take that info and your proof of ownership for the car and the dealer should be able to give you that info for free by using the manufacturer online info service they have.

I had the exact same problem, I contacted Mitsubishi and they gave me the code.  All I had to have was the serial # (the number you have is the model number - the Serial # is on top of the radio, you will need to pull the radio out a bit to read it) and of course your VIN.  Their contact statement on their website is as follows:
