It is 4in X 5 3/4in or 4in x 5in. Most all your double din stereo's are 4in wide by 6in long. The double din only means it is twice the size as a regular car stereo.
1. Disconnect the light green lead at power connector form ur Pioneer Player. 2. Connect above mentioned wire to direct fuse box with steady 12 V supply.
I do believe you can search through Crutchfield.com and in there is an explanation on din sizes and with a vehicle search you can see what size din yours should be.
You should have a double din if it is OEM. A single din is about 2" tall while a double is 4" tall.
There was also a DH (din and a half) found in early 80's to early 90's GM vehicles (and maybe other makes).
i have a 2002 ford escape and i bought a double din radio and it did not fit and found out it is actually a din and 3/4 with out serious mods (cutting a bigger hole in dash) double din wont fit i bought a single din stereo and a din a 3/4 dash kit works fine
