1997 Chevy Silverado will not start replaced fuel pump also replaced spider injectors. Call shut down while driving

Sorry there is no safety valve or switch. Only Ford products use an inertia switch.
Have you checked for power and ground at the injector connector ?

No.
The spider is one injector that supplies six small lines going to the cylinders instead of having one injector for each cylinder.
I would ask for a partial refund for parts and/or labor on the fuel pump job if that did not fix the problem. They should apply some or most of that cost to the cost of replacing the injector assembly if they diagnosed the problem as being the pump first.

You have to check your fuel pressure because this fuel system has to have at least 51 psi in order to open the popit valve inside the injector and the pump is weak and drops below 51 psi then the motor will shut down.Your fuel pressure should be 60-66 psi with key on and engine off.

You might want to put a fuel pressure gauge on it. I'd change the filter too. Check the condition of all rubber vacuum lines. These are notorious for getting brittle.

2 possible problems the easiest is an inline fuel filter on the frame rail below the drivers seat. Second the mapping sensor may be shot it monitors several fuel and ignition functions.

Is the check engine light on.

SCAN IT SOUND LIKE IDLE SPEED CONTROL PROBLEM.BUT I AM LOOKING AT VACUUM LEAK AT THE INTAKE MANIFOLD BROKE VACUUM HOSE. OR FUEL INJECTORS SEALS LEAKING.

its very likley that your fuse is blown. If you look it should be something like injectors a+b

check the crankshaft sensor

Might be the spider (fuel injector) located in the intake manifold that can cause that or may be firing order totally out.
