Where do i chek the fuse for a polo 2008 model starter

This is a common occurance in vw's.
In order to turn off the airbag light you need to have a scan tool hooked up to your car because the airbag detected a fault of some sort, or it could be a faulty component in the airbag system itself.

I have changed a few cylinder heads under warranty for this type of problem. The exhaust valve guides wear, this causes the exhaust valve to seat badly, giving low compression. if one cylinder compresion reading is more than about 50 psi below the others, then this warrants head removal. It is quite a job, due to the fact that the camshft id chain driven. If you are up for it then once the head is removed, poor liquid into the exhaust ports and see if it leaks out through any of the exhaust valves.

most fuse boxes are located either on the pass. side dashboard (near the door or by the center console) also driver side under dash or by right leg. also check under the hood for a black plastic box. then take the cover off. it should be labeled.

you might find the fuse diagram on the inside of the fuse box cover under the hood.....hope this helps.....cheers
