Might be the sunroof drain holes plugged:
There's a tray under the sun roof going from back to front on both sides. Follow that tray and look for the drain holes. They are a little hard to see but use a bright flashlight.
Hope this helps.

Do you have a sunroof or moonroof? If so the problem is going to be in the drain for that sunroof or moonroof. If you open the roof, on either front corner you will see a small circular hole. Take some compressed air and blow it through each of those holes. You may see debris come out of the bottom near the back of your wheel well. Take cup of water and slowly pour that near those holes and make sure it goes through. Usually when that drain is clogged the water from a rain storm will flood into the passenger cabin.

2012 Toyota RAV4 passenger floor wet after it rains. Leak stains on left side under glove compartment. Doesn't happen every time it rains. I just bought it this summer 2023, when it wasn't raining.

Question edited for clarity, add maker.
Question moved to model category.

Based on our research the RAV4s with wet floors are usually, but not always, clogged sunroof drains or drain outlets. Other RAV4 owners found that the body trim surrounding their windshield or even the fender panel had degraded and failed, allowing water to seep in during heavy rain.

1997 Nissan Sentra when it rains water leaks in on the passenger floor somehow behind the dash Maybe

Don A has an excellent answer, but if you have a sunroof, that is more likely the reason. The pipe runs down between the door pillar and the windshield and there is often a join there which can part. Be careful with compressed air as it can blow joints apart.

The floor of back passenger is saturated in my holden barina 2004

Hi Water leaks can be a pain to solve. There are three possibles (1) Main cause obviously water comming in from outside ie, rain or driving through mass water on the road. (2) Water coming from cooling system entering via the heater at front. (3) air conditioner unit normally the drain leaking back into car. Because the floor slopes to the rear don't rule out the fault being at the front. If your engine has coolant in the cooling system water entering from cooling system will have a sweet smell if no smell you can normaly rule out the heater leaking however check level of coolant Make sure engine is cold. If you run your hands around the heater unit front centre inside car check for any wetness around heater and carpet. If these areas are all ok its a matter of hunting down a leak from outside. You will need a second person to spray the car with a hose whilst the other sits in the car and checks all possible areas. There are no known areas for water leaks but due to the age of the vehicle check for any cracked or shrunken rubber seals. Good luck

There is water leaking inside above my passenger side door when it rains pretty hard?

is the water leak allowing the water to wick up into the headliner or is the headliner getting wet without water coming past the weather stripping around the door?

If it is wicking then fix the weather stripping.
If the water is getting headliner wet with out passing the weather stripping then you have a leaking sun roof.

You can the door seal by sitting in the car while you have some spray water (garden hose) gentle at the frontal and upper door seal.
If not leak there inspect seal of sun roof and real seal with correct type of sealant.

Water on floor passenger side after it rains and after air has been running 2000 grand prix

Ac hose leak?
leaking heater core?

Hint: it leaks when it RAINS

If it were related to the heater core or the AC drain, it would be leaking when it is not raining also, so those diagnoses are not logical.

The grand prix has a long history of floor leaks from seal failures around the air intake under the windshield cowling, where RAIN water runs in.

2007 floor wet on passenger side only when it rains

May be faulty seal around defrost vents. If it happens when not raining, then I would suggest A/C condensor, but if it only happens when raining, then you have a bad door seal or seal around defrost venting that is leaking into interior and you may need to silicone the leak or replace the seal.

2002 Camry water on drivers side floor whenever it

There are three possibilities, the winshield seal is leaking, the door seal is defective or the door window seal is leaking, sometimes you can find out by having an assistant inside the car observe the areas mentioned while you spray the car with the pressure washer at the car wash.

Water leak on fwd and back passenger side after every rain storm

pull your carpet up near the leak area and look for muddy body seams. it is possible one of the factory body seams are leaking- possibly in the cowl(under wipers) area, especially if it leaks when the car is sitting. there will be dirt/mud around the seams that are leaking. also you can check door seals by running the car on HIGH DEFROST with all doors and windows closed. spray around with a 50/50 soapy water solution. obviously bubbles will form around your leak.
