Adding refridgerant to Lincoln LS

Not sure of the engine ,so the low side port is in the bigger of the 2 lines.
If you get freon from a parts store with the hose that comes with the can,it will only fit the low side ,Just start the car turn the ac on high, then open the valve on the can,(with the can upright) It will **** the freon out ,you will know when it's empty from the weight. Close the valve ,disconnect the hose, and be cool.

2002 lincoln ls blows cool air on driver side but warm air on passenger side

It is likely that the Coolant Control Valve on your car has failed. This valve is located on the passenger side of the radiator fan shroud near the bottom and has 3 coolant hoses connected to it. This valve regulates interior duct temp by changing the amount of water flow to the heater system.

2005 Lincoln LS. It blows extremely hot air all the time, and is unresponsive to temperature inputs from either side of the car. It always blows hot air.

There is a very good chance the Dual Coolant Control Valve has failed. This is located at the botton right side of the engine fan shroud and has 3 heater hoses connected to it. This valve controls heater or AC temperature inside the car.

Lincoln lse 2005 ac blowing hot air on left side!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your LS is blowing hot air on one side of the dash and cold on the other the problem most likely is the Dual Coolant Control Valve. The DCCV is used to control cabin temperature. This valve is mounted down low on the passenger side of the radiator fan shroud, and has 3 coolant hoses connected to it. This valve if found to be faulty will need to be replaced to correct the condition.

2004 Lincoln LS A/C Valve

In order to charge, you must locate the low pressure valve to install the refrigerant. The low pressure valve is between the compressor and the evaporator. Do not charge on the High Pressure side, The high pressure valve is between the compressor and the condenser. To locate the low pressure valve, follow the line that comes from the compressor and routes toward the firewall. The valve will be somewhere on that line. Do not overcharge. The amount of pressure that is needed on the low pressure side will depend on the ambient outside temperature.
